Most business ideas are never tested, or are tested so vaguely that the result means nothing. DatumHarbor exists to make the test explicit: state the hypothesis, put a real property in front of a real market, watch what actually happens, and write down the decision.
The subdomains under *.datumharbor.com are the experiments. Each one is a separate project with its own codebase, owner and product logic. This platform is the layer that observes them and keeps the record honest.
What this platform does

- Collects metrics and evidence, and classifies each piece by visibility.
- Records decisions — continue, hold, stop — with their reasoning.
- Compares experiments and produces reports.
- Publishes experiment records, findings and validated playbooks.

What it deliberately does not do
- It does not modify the code of any experiment property.
- It does not take over another project's product logic.
- It does not invent commercial results, traffic, leads, revenue or rankings.
- It does not fabricate experiments or evidence.
- It does not build every experiment itself — each property owns its own work.
A platform that measures results will drift toward producing them if nothing stops it. This boundary is written down precisely so that it does not drift: the observatory does not edit what it observes.
Why failures are published too
A stopped experiment is not an embarrassment to be tidied away; it is the cheapest evidence available. Removing it would leave only the surviving stories, which is exactly the kind of record that teaches nothing. So stopped experiments keep their evidence, their timeline and their reasoning.
